The Penedès Region

The geological structure of the territory along with the influence of the Mediterranean Sea defines the geographical and micro-climatic borders
of the different Terrers (terroirs) which together define the Penedès Region.

The mountain ranges; Coastal and Pre-Coastal, and the Penedès depression all contribute to a great diversity of soils with important lithological and
compositional diferences which, together with the micro-climate peculiarities of each area, form three perfectly distinct vine-growing Terrers.

This exceptional diversity provides a wide range of possibilities for viticulture and enables enologists to create very unique products.
